The spirit expressed in our title of Divine Motherhood
touches the heart of our call to be women of the Gospel.
As Mary conceived Christ in her womb
and brought him forth for the world,
so we are called to conceive Christ in our hearts
This means nurturing the life of Christ
among the people we serve
as well as recognizing the face of Christ
in every person we meet. In this way,
a continual cycle is created of conceiving,
birthing and nurturing the Christ-Life in our daily lives.
